Crystal Ball is a PDF digital download file. There are two files to download for this class, a total of 93 pages, and numerous pictures through every lesson. She is geared toward an Intermediate/Advanced doll maker.
Crystal Ball is a cloth doll I created as a class a while ago. I was inspired by a John Waterhouse painting by the same name. The pattern will take you through all steps from preparing the head and body, then putting it all together. Her costume is not removeable, the embellishing is laid out in the style I chose, but lends itself to your own flair. She also has beaded slippers that are sewn onto her feet as you create them, a reference sheet for other beading ideas is included in the supply list. How you dress her and the fabric choices can be anything you like, it’s entirely up to you, I have just given suggestions.
If she were a standing doll, she would be approx. 14″ tall. The pattern does include two leg options if you prefer to have her standing. There are two more options included for making the hands if you struggle with individual fingers. Also included are instructions for making her footstool, a side table, a cushion and arm pads for her chair, and even some suggestions for bases to stand your dolls in.
