This PMC metal clay pendant was formed using precious metal clay that was imprinted, dried, sanded and baked in a kiln for two hours. The end result is a pendant that is 960 pure silver. The pendant was tumbled for 2 hours then polished for a high gloss shine. 18 inch Rolo chain.
Precious metal clay (or PMC) is just what it sounds like: fine silver or gold ground extremely small and suspended in a binder to create clay. Metal clay properties allow jewelers to work with a material that is as malleable as ordinary modelling clay but produces fine (almost pure) silver jeweler of exquisite intricacy and beauty.
