Bridal, pageant, and fancy dress hairpins made by me in Kingston, Ontario.  I am a freelance hairstylist and discovered the art of hairpins while practicing formal updos at college.   There are traditions in many cultures of decorating hair with jewelry and, inspired by them, I started making my own.  I use .999 fine silver for the pin and Austrian crystals woven on stainless steel wire for the embellishment.   All my material is sourced from Canadian suppliers.
