Kim McLennan Art Glass

Kiln formed glass, also referred to as fused or warm glass, is created by combining and or manipulating layers of clear and coloured glass in a kiln.  Various techniques can be used to create beautiful pieces of functional and decorative glass items including everything from jewellery, tableware, wall/window art,  to sculptural objects.

Many of the items I create are produced from recycled glass.  Of course we know that recycling conserves the environment and our natural resources.  As well, recycling glass requires considerably less energy than is needed to melt the raw materials to produce the initial glass product, saving energy.

All tableware and serving dishes are food safe, and may be put in the dishwasher, though hand washing is recommend.  These items are NOT Microwavable, or oven safe.
