This is a brand new, 2 piece, hand-crafted solid Maple Wood Pocket Clarinet (Chalumeau) electronically tuned to the key of C.
The Pocket Clarinet is suitable for many types of music ~ including Renaissance, Baroque, Blues, Jazz, Folk, and Gospel. It is very portable, easy to maintain, and extremely fun to play! It sounds like a cross between a clarinet and a saxophone, and has great volume.

This instrument is original and hand-turned at Heritage Music in Canada, makers of quality woodwinds. It is approximately 14 inches long including the cap and has a removable joint for easy cleaning and fine-tuning with other instruments.
FINGERING IS SUITABLE FOR SMALLER HANDS ~ PLUS: FINGERHOLES ARE SCALLOPED FOR EASIER FINGER PLACEMENT.
It features a chromatic range that reaches nearly two octaves with practice – from C4 (middle C) to A5, is comfortable to play, has a genuine clarinet mouthpiece with ligature, cap, and reed, and is great for beginners learning a reed instrument for the first time, and is very popular as a portable instrument for experienced clarinet and saxophone players.
Each one is handturned, and hand tuned electronically to concert pitch A 440. Great care is taken to ensure each instrument is in tune ~ with the understanding that all reed instruments give the player the the amazing ability to bend notes. Each one has an interesting grain pattern and may include natural color variation and/or mineral stains and comes with an Instruction Sheet, Fingering Chart, Songs, Thumb Rest, Cork Grease, Spare Reed, Cap, and Pendleton wool bag.
