My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 3, I uave now been crocheting for 33 years. My journey with toys started about 13 years ago when the pet store I worked at had kittens that wouldnt have a home for Christmas. I thought to myself every baby needs a present on Christmas. So I made them toys stuffed with nip. My boss loved them and had me start making them for the store. From there I was like what else can I do lol. My daughter started the journey for the plush people toys, and my bosses ridiculous dog got me started on dog toys (not as easy as the cat ones lol). I love crochet and have shared my knowledge with anyone who was willing to learn.
