I’ve always liked art and liked making art or crafts.  Over the years I’ve participated in many craft fairs and always loved meeting the people as much as I loved selling the goods!  People that look for handmade are always special in my books!

Having lived in the north of BC and in Nunavut, long winters were often times to get into the crafts and I learned to paint (watercolours), quilt and knit.  I love to do all of these and alternate….sometimes my dining room is set up as a sewing room and other times it is a watercolour art studio and at times it is both.  If necessary I can eat my dinner on my lap in front of the TV!

After many years of community development work both for Indigenous Friendship Centres and government I retired 6 years ago and came back to Vancouver where my children and grandchildren live.  When i’m not having fun with them i’m crafting/making.
