Welcome to Mood + Mantle

My name is Melanie and I am a Canadian artist living on the beautiful coast of the Pacific Northwest. I make one of a kind wall quilted wall hangings and some larger quilts.

All items in this shop are solely made by me! I design, cut, stitch and quilt every single piece in my home based studio.

My work pulls inspiration from a large variety of sources – the natural world around me, architecture, nostalgia and everything in between. I work mostly with cotton and linen fabrics and love to play with shapes and negative space.
