I have worked as a professional artist for many years, in Australia as well as in Saskatchewan, Ontario, and British Columbia, Canada.  As a participant in the Great Northern Arts Festival in 2002, I took a workshop on silk painting.  I was hooked, and have made this my primary medium ever since.
