Description

*January Dog* is the first of 12 large dog squares to be published in 2024. These little dachshunds were inspired by my slippers!
*February Dog* is our second pattern in the *2024: A Year of Dogs* series. This large square features a heart-shaped dog on a background of nested hearts!
*March Dog* features a portrait-style Pit Bull.
*April Dog* is a wrinkly Pug!
*May Dog* is a regal Great Dane.
*June Dog* is a fluffy, posh Poodle!
*July Dog* is a handsome German Shepherd.
*August Dog* is a Shih Tzu or possible a Lhasa Apso.
*September Dog* is a cute dog on a bone (my son’s favorite).
*October Dog* is a mischievous Corgi.
*November Dog* is a little Basset Hound.
*December Dog* is a brave St. Bernard.

These large squares can be joined together to create a blanket or used individually for pillows or wall hangings, etc. You can use whichever joining method you prefer; I have a tutorial that shows a few options at https://youtu.be/UXoh8ungXRs.

The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.

Mosaic crochet uses single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design.
