Description

This is a simple, elegant necklace that can be worn alone or layered with other pieces. It is made of hammered brass and gold plated chain. I like to think of this design as a piece of elegance for everyone.

Length: 40cm/16inches

A note about brass: I love working with brass and I love the way it looks when texture has been added by hammering. It is also a very economical metal which means I can experiment more and charge less (yay!). The downside of brass is that it does like to tarnish. I treat each piece of brass jewellery I make with mineral oil which helps slow the tarnishing process, however, it will still tarnish over time. But not to worry – there is an easy fix! Simple wipe your piece down with white vinegar and it will shine up again. A quick wash with soap and water will get rid of any vinegar smell…unless you like it. 🙂

  • All prices are listed in CAD (Canadian Dollars).

  • All orders are processed using PayPal prior to shipping.

Shipping Policy

  • Goods will be shipped via within 3 days of receiving your order. 
  • Canada Post is the primary method of shipping. Please confirm that your address is correct when checking out.
  • Local delivery or pick up can also be arranged.
  • Shipping is free in Canada via Canada Post letter mail. Please let me know of you would like to upgrade the shipping for an extra cost. 
  • DecoCat Designs ships from Nanaimo, BC.

Return Policy

I will do my best to provide accurate descriptions and visuals and I encourage you to contact me with any questions before you order. I do want you to enjoy your new jewellery, so I hope all sales are final ones. However, when that is not the case, returns for refund will be accepted under the following conditions.

  • Return is initiated within 48 hours of the customer receiving the product.

  • Return shipping is at customer’s cost.

  • All returns must be unworn and undamaged.
