Product Sizing

Each piece is handcrafted, so dimensions may vary slightly (up to ¼ inch) due to:

  • Natural wood characteristics
  • Unique qualities of reclaimed materials

Colour Variations

While we provide accurate colour representations:

  • Stains may appear differently depending on wood grain and type
  • Paint finishes may exhibit slight variations due to differences in monitor settings.
  • We recommend viewing physical samples if colour matching is critical. We provide colour swatches as the last picture in the gallery.

Taxes

 

All applicable taxes (HST/Provincial Tax/GST) will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping province.

Order Cancellation
We will only accept order cancellations within 24 hours of purchase, as materials may have been purchased or the product started  or shipped by that time.

 

Shipping Policy

At Rustic and Renewed Decor, we’re committed to making your shipping experience seamless and transparent. Below are the details of how we handle orders placed through Mavenfair.

Shipping Destinations

We currently only ship within Canada’s 10 provinces via flat-rate shipping on Mavenfair. Due to platform limitations, we cannot adjust pricing for the 3 territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut)  where shipping costs for large/heavy items are cost-prohibitive and cannot offer the same flat rate as the provinces on this platform.

Shipping Method & Tracking

  • We partner with ClickShip (a Canadian shipping provider) for reliable, tracked deliveries. They offer multiple carrier options, and we’ll select the best one for your location. Most locations offer delivery within 1-3 days.
  • P.O. Boxes are not supported—a full residential address is required.
  • Express shipping from us is not available on Mavenfair, as we use our own shipping partner but our shipping partner uses carriers which have 1-3 day delivery in most locations. If you are in a remote location, unfortunately, that will not be the case.

Processing & Shipping Times

  • In Stock / One-of-a-Kind Items: Shipped within 3–5 business days.
  • Made-to-Order Items: Shipped within 3 weeks of purchase. You’ll receive an email notification with tracking details once your order is on its way. Timing is dependent on the complexity of the item and our current volume.

 Shipping Costs

  • Flat-rate shipping applies, but fees vary slightly by product size/weight.
  • Final costs are displayed at checkout.

Damaged Items & Refunds

If your item arrives damaged :

  1. Please send us an email on this platform within 5 days of receiving the item.
  2. Please include photos of both the damaged item and its packaging (required for carrier claims).
  3. Include your name, order number, and date of purchase.
  4. Once verified and submitted to the carrier, we’ll issue a full refund (product + shipping).

We photograph all packages before shipping for carrier documentation.

Non-Receipt of Product

If you do not receive your product after the tracking says it has been delivered  :

  1. Please send us an email on this platform immediately so that we can track this through our shipping partner.
  2. Include your name, order number, date of purchase, tracking number, and the date that it shows delivery.
  3. Once we verify that it is truly lost, we’ll issue a full refund (including product and shipping).

Return Policy

At Rustic and Renewed Decor, we take pride in our craftsmanship and want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you need to return an item, here's what you should know:

In-Stock Items

  • 30-day return window from delivery date
  • Must notify us on this platform within 7 days of receipt of the product. Include order number, order date, and why you are looking to return. We do not offer exchanges.
  • The item must be in its original condition in order to receive a refund. Pictures are taken prior to shipping.
  • Full product refund issued upon return approval (customer covers return shipping costs and cost of original shipping)
  • Damaged items follow our Shipping Policy's damage resolution process

Made-to-Order Items

Due to their custom nature being made to your specifications:

  • 70% product refund if returned in the original condition within 30 days of purchase (customer covers return  and original shipping)
  • Must notify us via this platform within 7 days of receipt to let us know you are returning the product and would like to understand why.

Non-Returnable/Refundable Items

  • Items damaged due to customer use or mishandling.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Please email us through this platform within the specified timeframe.
  2. Please include your order number, the date of your order, and the reason for your return.
  3. We’ll provide return instructions and address.
  4. Once received, your refund will be processed.

 

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receipt of the item.
