Hello!

I’m Pani Yana, a bead artist based in Airdrie, Alberta, originally from Ukraine. I first learned beadwork in school back home, and although life took me on many paths, I found my way back to beading here in Canada — especially after the war began. Creating with beads became both comfort and connection to my heritage.

My designs are inspired by Ukrainian culture, embroidery motifs, symbolism, and nature. I believe that every color and pattern holds meaning, so each piece carries a little story — a memory, a blessing, or a spark of joy.

I use high-quality thread, beads, and hardware, and I am very careful with my finishing. I want every piece to feel good to wear and to last — because you must be happy when you receive it. That part is important to me.
