Welcome to the MavenFair Community

The MavenFair Community is an online gathering place for those who are genuinely interested in creating, selling, buying and learning more about Canadian handmade goods. MavenFair’s core values are integrity; fairness; inclusion; safety; sustainability; diversity; and equity. We expect that anyone using our services are guided by these same or similar values. Whether you are a guest browsing our Maker Shops, a registered Member or MavenFair Maker you are an integral part of the MavenFair Community. Please keep in mind that your actions effect everyone involved in the MavenFair Community. We want everyone to have a very positive Canadian experience here at MavenFair so we have created guidelines and policies to help clarify your rights and expectations as users of MavenFair services. We encourage you to take time to read the policies that apply to you.

POLICIES FOR ALL USERS

By accessing our services, browsing or using the MavenFair.ca website and all subdomains, which are a service of MavenFair Artisans & Crafters Market Incorporated (“MavenFair”), you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in our Terms of Use Agreement and the Privacy Policy, whether you are a registered member of MavenFair or a non-registered guest.

POLICIES FOR BUYERS

MavenFair buyers are considered any user who is using our services with the intent to purchase Canadian handmade products or craft supplies from our MavenFair Maker Shops. You do not have to be a registered member to make a purchase on MavenFair, however there are some great benefits that come with a free MavenFair Membership. You can use the “Join Us” button in the upper right of the page to become a member or check out our Membership Benefits. Visit Buyer FAQs for more information about the buying process on MavenFair.

POLICIES FOR SELLERS

MavenFair seller are referred to as MavenFair Makers. You must be living and creating in Canada to become a MavenFair Maker. MavenFair Makers are both registered members and sellers.  You can use the “Open a Shop” button in the upper right of the page to open a Maker Shop.
