MY INSPIRATION

My inspiration for this piece came from a song with nearly the same title, “The Devil In I” by one of my all time favourite bands, Slipknot. Yes, I can admit it’s not super clever or very imaginative, but that’s the image I saw when I first heard the song around 2020 (what a year that was!) and simply had to get it out of my mind. So there it is, the image has been brought to life.

I greatly enjoyed making this piece, I spent a lot of time studying closeups of the human eye and came to find they very closely resemble nebula in space, which if you’re a nerd like me is pretty damn cool.

This art print would make a great gallery wall accent in the home of just about any Satanic or gothic person. Once framed it would also look amazing standing alone on a tall table next to a vase of black roses and baby’s breath.
