Description
This is an original unframed oil-on-masonite painting that measures 8 inches by 10 inches by 1/8 inch.
The scene portrays some old industrial and retail buildings at 200 Queens Quay East, near the Toronto waterfront. Much of the surrounding East Bayfront area has been heavily redeveloped in recent years, with new parks, condos, offices and George Brown College buildings replacing former industrial wasteland. This one small stretch of single-story buildings remains intact, for now. Large billboards on the roof target drivers on the nearby Gardiner Expressway.
Painted using Winsor & Newton oils on an archival gessoed masonite. Note that this painting is shipped unframed and the accompanying photo of the framed painting is for illustrative purposes only. This painting fits easily into standard 8″ x 10″ frames.
