Description

This rustic wooden whale assemblage art is the perfect piece for a coastal country house mantle. It is made of thick vintage weathered wood with a coat of light brown stain to highlight the edges and wood grain. The whale sits upon an assemblage vintage hardware from a little oiler can, gear from a meat grinder and other various pieces. I’ve added a vintage sleepy doll eye set into a sculpted clay barnacle. The eye closes when laid down flat. It has a twisted spout which is from a clock spring and the fin is from the side of an old wooden pulley. Whale will be removed from the stand for safe shipping. Simply pop it back on the stand. Other whales shown in the last picture as well as other colours and styles are available in my other listings. Signed and dated on the bottom.

17 1/2″ long and 11 7/8” high to the top of the spout.

As an artist, small business and in fairness to all of my previous customers, I have made it a policy not to discount my work or do sales.  I try to price all of my work well to start with, considering the lengthy process from design to production, hunting and curating, to packing supplies and shipping. Shipping is always more than the amount I charge to the customer, so I pay the difference myself at the actual time of shipping, so you save there.

Ready to ship items are shipped 1 to 2 business days from date of purchase.

Made to order items will be shipped between 3 to 10 business days depending on the item. Please check the specific item's description for the processing time in my order lineup.

Tracking is provided with all orders, unless specified otherwise.

All items are packaged carefully for safe shipping.

If you are outside of Canada and would like to purchase an item/s please contact me for a shipping quote.  International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes and tariffs.
